Recipes For Health (Entry 6)

Life requires a healthy lifestyle. To start doing so, we must start with a daily routine. Among the steps to start a healthy lifestyle is a simple physical activity like going to jog in the morning. Jogging can make our body healthier and keep our mind sharp.

We must also drink plenty of water, at least eight glasses per day. Avoid drinking too many sugary drinks. The benefit is your blood circulation can flow very well and also remove toxic waste in the body through the excretory system of sweat. Water is a very important part of our healthy lifestyle.

In addition, we should always take care of ourselves. Hygiene can be a very important to our self. Bathing, brushing, cutting nails on a daily basis can increase our hygiene. This is so we can avoid getting unwanted diseases and stay healthy. Failing to do so may affect our lifestyle, making it unhealthy.

Persuasive Writing About "Why The Television Is Important" (Entry 5)

In these modern times, just about every home has a televison. I think that no one can do without a television set at home. These are my reasons for which I think the television is important for our modern society.

The televison is a multipurpose equipment. The various channels that we can tune in to brings us entertainment, information and even education. There are several television stations in Malaysia which provide us with these services.

For English language entertainment, the Golden Channel, RTM 2, airs movies, sitcoms, dramas and even local and regional productions. The station picks only the best of these for screening. My favourite drama series is Ariana Rose. Its about the person who a care about love and family.

At specified times, the stations also bring us the latest news from around the world. One never has to buy a newspaper to get the latest news.

Another favourite of mine are documentaries such as The National Geographic . Watching these documentary programmes has made my knowledgable on such subjects as wild life and sea life. It is truly fascinating to watch these creatures of the wild of which I have no contact in the concrete jungle of modern Malaysia where I live.

Finally, the televison also screens popular sporting events, if not 'live', at least a delayed telecast. Such competitions as the Formula One and the Thomas Cup have been telecast 'live'. These are the reasons why the televison is important.
