My School (Entry 3)

A picture of my school.
I studied at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Kampung Raja. My school is in a kampung environment. Before arriving at school every morning, I often see paddy fields all along the road. My school is very near to paddy fields and fruit orchards. The paddy fields and orchards belong to the villagers so I often see them working in the field.

Apart from that, there were always food stalls in front of my school so I often heard people chattering or watching television in front of the school. There were also bell rings from the ice cream truck whenever he went past our school. At recess we often went to the school gate and the ice cream truck would already wait us there. In addition, even though my school is on a kampung, it has always been lively and full of people as it is located on the main roads of our kampung.

Being in a kampung, my school was not a big school and all the buildings were painted white. Each block only has two floors in each. The building was filled with flower and small shrubs that were placed at the corners of the buildings. I love my school for its beautiful environment and surroundings. There were strict rules against vandalizing school property. I feel like it was necessary and a good move to preserve our beautiful school. My school was always clean and beautiful.

My school always smelled of fresh air because it was surrounded by nature inside and out. They were rarely any air pollution due to being in a kampung, not much vehicle was present. The student used to get to school by the school bus, riding bicycles or even just walking. Sometimes it would smell like fresh food being cooked due to it being near to the food stalls.
